With 5 en suite bedrooms, 2.5 living areas, and 2 kitchens, Monkey Beach House is configured to sleep up to 10 guests comfortably. However, the thoughtful layout also makes the house suitable for smaller groups looking for a spacious yet cosy coastal escape. The house has direct access to the lovely gardens, pool and beach.

The bedrooms are set on three levels: two on the ground floor, one on the first floor and two on the top floor. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and A/C.  We provide bed linen and towels, but you're welcome to bring your own. Ask for more details.

The main living area located is located on the first floor. It incorporates a furnished kitchen that opens onto the spacious, light-filled lounge with large day beds, a coffee table, and Smart TV. The living room has high ceilings with fans, big doors and windows for airflow. The living area also opens onto the balcony with a Swahili baraza seat, daybed, and outdoor table with seating for 10 guests.  The living and dining areas are spacious and are great for entertaining while enjoying the breathtaking views of the garden, pool and Indian Ocean. The balcony is enclosed, making it safe for young children.

The second living room is located on the ground floor. This room is light-filled and includes a furnished kitchen, bar, drinks fridge, day bed and desk. The living room opens to the external breakfast area with a large dining table seating up to 10 guests, day beds, coffee table, barbecue, and beach beds and has direct access to the gardens, pool and beach.  There's a ceiling fan in the living room.

The top floor living area is our favourite. This area is flooded with natural light and is the perfect place to escape the crowds, read a book, have some quiet time alone, or enjoy afternoon drinks with a few friends. There is a private deck with a Swahili baraza seat, two beach beds, a table and chair for 6 and a large Swahili-style day bed with a mosquito net.
